Rotary is a worldwide organization of business, professional, and everyday leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world.  Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.  To learn more about the history of Rotary, visit Rotary International's site by clicking here.

The Chisago Lakes Rotary Club was founded in 1998 by a group of five people from the local business community.  Today membership continues to grow and we welcome anyone who is interested in joining our organization.  Membership in the Rotary Club is a great way to meet people, help your community, participate in international projects, and have fun.

Some of our projects include:

  • Eradication of Polio, Clean Water, Literacy consistent with Rotary International initiatives
  • Enhancement of local community parks, trails and recreational facilities
  • Creation of local school programs focused on business vocational skills and environmental education
  • Support of local non-profit organizations focusing on families and hunger issues

Our club provides financial support for many worthy projects in the Chisago Lakes community and beyond.  The Rotary Club conducts fundraising activities such as our Rose Sale in October, Casino Night in February, and Golf Tournament in June to accomplish our humanitarian service projects.  You may also see Rotarians serving in the community at events like the Chisago Lakes Triathalon, Frankie's Marine Bass Tournament, and local city celebrations.
