2021 Annual Chisago Lakes Rotary Golf Tournament

                                                                                              The Chisago Lakes Rotary would like to thank everyone who supported and participated in the                                                                                                          2021 Annual Chisago Lakes Rotary Golf Tournament.  The tournament was held on Tuesday, June                                                                                                  22 at the Chisago Lakes Golf Course, with 20 teams participating.  Three major sponsors each gave                                                                                                $1000 to the tournament: Gregory Contracting, Kendall Howard, and Midwest One Bank.  

                                                                                              Congratulation to our winning teams.  The winning Men’s team was Team Anderson Koch-                                                                                                              Patrick  Fossen, Adam Thoreson, Jeremy Klund, and Donnie Brown.  The winning Women’s team                                                                                                    was Team Fuge - Kristine Fuge, Brenda Carlson, Andrea Jerrick and, Deanna Nelson.  The winning                                                                                                Mixed team was Team Stein Agency - Megan Corradi, Jason Mork, Luke Angrimson, and Susan                                                                                                        Engquist.  

The Chisago Lakes Rotary gave $5000 of the proceeds to Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, an organization that helps veterans and their families.  The rest of the proceeds will support the Chisago Lakes Rotary and several of our current projects:  Pollinator gardens along the Highway 8 corridor; Swedish Immigrant Bike Trail trailhead development, including kiosk, bike rack, and more at Tern Ave. in Shafer Township; initiate a local program to bring about awareness and fight all aspects of human trafficking; and to continue our support of community, state, national and international efforts that make the world we live in a much better place to pass on to future generations.
